One of my favorite places in Portland is the Rose Garden in Washington Park area and is probably the hardest thing about moving into our house was moving so far from this wonderful garden that the boys and I love take strolls in, play at the Ampitheatre on one side of the Rose Garden, and the playground that we've dubbed "Castle Park" on the other side of the garden... We visited last Thursday:
In case you can't see but there is a bee in the rose...

Beautiful! And well placed/ framed in the blog. I can't do that yet, I don't understand the formatting options, I guess. And speaking of bees, while I was standing out on the street for better reception to talk to you, I got 4 mosquito bites in a matter of minutes- but only one of them got away, the dirty vampires. Seen Twilight? I got it from the library, and actually enjoyed parts of it! Ah, the romantic...
Thanks- I keep wanting to figure out the free versions of Photoshop to better layouts than the limited blogger and I keep thinking about changing over to typepress instead of blogger- more picture layout capabilities.
I read the books and saw the movie- cheesy but in a good way although I am not another one of those "mom" fans- there are some serious fans out there. I am on Team Jacob but I don't love who they cast as Jacob in the movie so we'll see how it goes in the next movie of the series...
Sorry about the bites. A friend of the family is helping me work out my travel plans and I am trying to stay overnight in your neck of the woods on July 7th. I'll keep you updated...
